Dr. Sarah Villaseñor
Sarah Villaseñor, DDS grew up in Overland Park, Kansas. She received her degree from the University of Notre Dame and studied abroad in Spain. After graduating from dental school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Villasenor completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado during which she served as Chief Resident. She has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry in Denver since 2013.
Dr. Villaseñor is the immediate past president of the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a consultant for the Craniofacial Team at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children. She also is an assistant professor at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine and clinical faculty at Children’s Hospital Colorado Pediatric Dentistry Residency Program.
Dr. Villaseñor is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. What she loves most about being a pediatric dentist is teaching children to care for their smiles so they will have a lifetime of excellent oral health. It is her honor to be able to guide children to have positive early experiences so they will continue the dental process well into adulthood. Working together with her team, patients, and their families towards the common goal of a happy experience and healthy smile brings her joy.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Villaseñor loves spending time with her husband, Mario, and her 3 children, Eloise, Alice, and Noah. Her favorite way to spend the weekend is adventuring whether that is hiking in the foothills, at the playground with her children, or on a family bike ride around Wash Park with her family. Her appreciation of Denver and the outdoors are evident in her daily gratitude and the way she spends her time outside of the office.
A few fun facts about Dr. Villaseñor are she started a goal with her dad to run a marathon in every state (He is already finished, and she is still working on it!), she rides her yellow bike to the office each day, and she loves making her own stationery and sending it via snail mail to her family and friends.
